Pokémon Ultra Moon: Rare Pokémon and SOS chaining.

Hi guys!

It’s been a while since I posted, but I will explain why in my next post. Let’s just dig into the nitty gritty.

So I decided to do a little something different to me. I decided to try and hunt down a rare pokemon! This rare just happened to be

Feebas!

If you don’t know, Feebas is the Fish Pokémon needed to evolve into Milotic, the Tender Pokémon!

Info on Feebas:

Because of its wretched appearance, most people pay it no attention, but there are some who collect Feebas—and Feebas alone!

I wanted to catch one of these bad boys for a while. I love love love Feebas and Milotic. I have since their debut in R/S/E. I remember accidently finding the ONE RANDOM FREAKING TILE and getting like 6 of the things haha.

Alright, just as a small idea of what I did:

You can find Feebas on one of these two areas:

When I looked I am had only known of the first one and it’s 1% encounter rate.

You have to obviously fish these little dudes up at the bubble areas, so I went to the one closest to the stairwell to make the bubbles reappear a lot easier.

Out of 24 going back and forth, here are my results:

No bubbles: 11

Bubbles with other Pokémon: 5

Bubbles with items: 7

Feebas: 1

I was EXTREMELY lucky. With the area I was in, it could have taken as long as… well.

My (ongoing) Snorlax SOS.

If you don’t know:

Munchlax is the Big Eater Pokémon and Snorlax is the Sleeping Pokémon You can find Snorlax with SOS chaining a Munchlax.

Info on Munchlax:

Anything that looks edible, Munchlax will go on and swallow whole. Its stomach is tough enough to handle it even if the food has gone rotten.

Info on Snorlax:

It has no interest in anything other than eating. Even if you climb up on its stomach while it’s napping, it doesn’t seem to mind at all!

I use the false swipe/adrenaline orb method!

Find Pokémon that has the SOS chain
Use false swipe
Use an Adrenaline Orb
K-O the unwanted other Pokémon that come to it’s aid until you find the one you want.
K-O the original after a while and replace it with one it called of the same kind as it will eventually start to struggle and K-O itself.
Do the first 4 bullets and then rinse, wash, repeat.

So far after a few days I am at:

86 all together Pokemon

Non Munchlax(non SOS, just looking for the Munchlax): 27

Munchlax(non SOS summoned): 3

Pokémon summoned by SOS: 54

Non Munchlax summoned by SOS: 5 (5 Happiny)

Munchlax summoned by SOS: 49

This has been over the course of a few hours spent the last few days. I never realized how tedious this was.

It really, REALLY irks me that both Happiny and Snorlax have a 5% chance of showing, but ALL I HAVE SEEN IS HAPPINY. ಠ_ಠ

WHY.

JUST WHY.

I mean, I did end up catching one on one of the first two non SOS founds, but still.

STILL.

I will keep updating on the progress with the Snorlax hunt. I plan on doing other hunts too! Here are a few I have planned:

So! I am a little late to the party with my #FridayReads. Life has been one big ball of blah.

I have been not only dealing with loads of stress, depresstion decided to rear it’s ugly head. I have read, maybe… 4 chapters this week? I know that in reality that isn’t horrible, but I feel like a failure.

So other than that, last weeks hang out was a success.

We watched Horns and talked a bit. It was a bit nerve wracking at first, since the PS4 wanted to be a butt, but otherwise good.

Horns is fucking awesome by the way.

Other than that, I was supposed to do my first Tea Party Tuesday, but life decided to just nope all over that.

My husband is going to a concert/jazz thing tonight. Now, I have no problem with him going… I just have this fear of him getting hurt. He isn’t a delicate flower by any means, but just get anxious. Is this something other people get? There is a small possibility he might not come home tonight, and might end up hanging out at a friends moms.

I know logically he will be okay, I still worry.

I am planning, PLANNING on possibly maybe making a book haul video. I have a lot of books. Specially after yesterday.

I was floored by what the amazing Heather Doss from Harper Collins sent me. For some people, this might be a normal thing. For me? Not so much. This had me FLOORED. I won’t lie. I cried. This much love took me by surprise. I originally had just requested Emmy and Oliver since she was doing a give away. She LOVED Emmy and Oliver and said she would send it, along with one other of her favorites.

A giant box came.

Sectional Saturdays #1 [3/14/2015]

So, I on a whim I decided to make this a thing.

Sectional Saturdays are going to be a blog post about random things. They might have books. But it’s going to be more, personal posts. Like, about life and the like. How I am feeling. Thoughts I have been having. Ideas. Basically a place I can just jot down things.

I have high hopes for this.

I mean, it can fail horribly and I could just look stupid but uh.

So! Introverted me is a little sad and happy today. The friend that was to come over couldn’t because she had to work over time cause they were swamped. Which, is okay. I understand. So we rescheduled for next Tuesday. While part of me is actually kind of sad it didn’t work out, the introvert in me is like:

Don’t get me wrong! I really wanted too, but I have been so damn nervous. I sprayed Febreeze all over the house, carpet, and toliet.

The house is saturated in fresh linen smell now. There isn’t a square inch of the apartment (outside of the kitchen, which oddly smells like bacon) that isn’t chokingly clean smelling.

We live in a slightly… non girly household. It looks more like a bachelor’s pad. Which is fine with me. The bedroom looks like a library. It’s perfect. Except for the lack of bookshelves. That’s the only downside.
We have gaming posters, wizards, roman soliders and my little pony everywhere. We also have a lot of Funko Pops. I flipping love Funko Pops. I recently got two new posters. One from the amazing Eric Smith; author of INKED and GEEK’S GUIDE TO DATING and another from a friend that is Harley Quinn! Both are going to be showcased in the back of my videos once I have thumbtacks.

Harley Quinn is another great love.

I have loved her since her debut in 1993, same month as my birthday. She was a 5 year old’s dream. At first I thought she was just a crazy antithesis to my fear of clowns and jesters. Someone who wasn’t scared of anything. The first real DC comic character I loved.

I will probably go more into my love of her later.

SO! In lieu of current circumstances, I decided to have some fun today, since my plans were cancelled and I cannot dye my hair /light/ purple anytime soon…

I did this. I didn’t want to open my toner yet, since my roots are already showing, and I wanted a little flair to my hair. Yes, I love the blonde (as does most everyone else…), but I wanted to add a little me to my hair.

My big plans were to do my hair like this:

But, due to the toner arriving a day after the latest date, it won’t be able to be like that or at least a month. I have been devistated. So, I decided to take another approach.

My thoughts on first glance

I like it. I honestly do. It gives me an idea of what to expect next time. I love the contrast of the blue and purple hues of the Manic Panic Ultra Violet. I think I will have fun with this. Makes me want to try out many different hair styles!

Since my Saturday is more free, and less me panicing over the fact that I have to try to be not… different.

I think I will dabble in a little playing of Pokemon, or Persona Q. I know I need to check on my Nintendogs… It’s been a while. :S Maybe even another playthrough of Final Fantasy IX.

Does anyone else play these games?

I also have a thing for Rogue Legacy.

But… I probably should be playing Five Nights At Freddys.

I own all three, but haven’t finished ANY of them. In terms of which one scares me the most, I will always (until the next possible one comes out) say 1.

My favorite animatronic is Bonnie Bunny.

Something about him being a bunny, being purple, and reminding me of Frank from Donnie Darko. I think it’s kind of subliminally why I want purple hair. I also like Toy Bonnie.
