Review:
I don’t normally review books DIRECTLY after finishing them. I don’t normally gush and ugly cry either. Emmy and Oliver is one of those books you HAVE to talk about after finishing. You need someone to talk to about it.
I started this book on a whim. I was wanting a fluffy, light hearted romance. I got that and so much more.
I don’t want to spoil anyone, so I will be as detailed yet not as I can.
I felt like I was there with the characters the whole time. Like I was a member of their group of friends. There with them as they surfed, talked and just confied into each other.
This story was heartbreaking, and worth every fracture along the way. The love and the friendship felt so genuine between more than just the main characters. I felt something for every single character. I love that the parents were so involved and just the fact that every character was so strong.
This is how contemporary should be written. This is a story that will be sticking with me for a long time. This is easily one of my favorite books of this year. It comes out on 5/23/15, my only regret is I have to wait til July to get a finished copy. ;_;
BUT! It will be well worth the wait.

Review:
Now, before I start I want to say this: I loved the writing style and I will be picking up other books under her other name; Morgan Matson. I loved the prose and how the story flowed… I just didn’t like the story. From the beginning I was getting through it quickly, but just as quickly it fell apart for me. The idea behind the series is great! Revenge, remorse, heartbreak, new romance, drama… it has it all!
But.. it just didn’t click with me. Something about the characters seemed overly predictable. I didn’t like how it was painstakingly obvious what was going on between Hallie and Gemma. I got it the first moment they saw each other again. I also flipped to the back and was right about another prediction I made.
The story wasn’t for me, but it might be for you! 😀 I am not going to rate this, since while I didn’t like the story and it felt overly predictable where it was going, I loooovveedd the writing and style. I will be picking up Since You’ve Been Gone hopefully soon!

This book took me by surprise.
From down, dower and abused, to new love, excitement and PLOT TWISTS FROM OUTTA NO WHERE!
Zoe is an amazing character. Even though her boyfriend at the start is a horrible person, she is herself, no matter what. Even when a random chance encounter happens.
With a wide variety of complex and lovely characters, I can see myself reading this over and over again. 🙂

Oh my god I devoured this. This was like a heavenly mix of Gayle Forman and Ellen Hopkins. The pure transformation of Evie from sick “Cancer Girl” to her recovery to downfall is just pure magic. Amy Reed really knows how to write. I will definitely be looking more into her books.
I will say, if you are trigger sensitive to drug use, LGBQT, and family issues, please be careful.
Everything felt genuine. Like, I was actually there. God. I want the second book now!

Review:
I really enjoyed this. Echo was someone I really wanted to know. 😀 The pacing was quick, but I felt I could safely put the book down and come back to it, in a good way. I rarely have those kinds of books. The kind you can feel safe just setting down for a few days, and then just jump right back in! 😀
The style was very unique. I didn’t feel the City of Bones feel, then again I have never read it… but I did get a Daughter of Smoke and Bone’s and Shadow and Bone feel. Those two I had the same previous feeling with. I LOVE that feeling. That wonderful feeling. Sometimes taking a while to finish a book is a great thing! 😀
The world building is something that was very strong. I found myself thinking about so much of the scenery for days. Miss Grey really knows how to paint a picture.
And how to build a great set of characters.
I don’t want to get too much into detail, but there is one thing I am happy about. Something that makes me soooooo happy. NO LOVE TRIANGLE. Yes, there is romance though. A GREAT ONE! 😀
I am definitely grabbing a copy of this physically, as it has entered my heart as a possible favorite series. ❤

I have been WAITING to make this review. This is what guides should be. There are so many topics, and how to’s, terminologies… I thought -I- knew them all. I was so wrong.
From Saltgunners, to Otakon, Anti-Troll advice, Conventions do’s and don’t’s, this book has it all in so little of pages. I want every person in the world who identifies as a geek, nerd, hell even Jock and Prep and BEYOND to have this book. This has to be the single most amazing geeky thing I own. And I own a lot.
Like a Jake the Dog bowtie.
This guide is all at once, informative, cute, kick ass and just a need in all homes. I know I must be gushing, yet not giving much detail. There is a reason. I want you to experience it yourself. Like any good book, hearing about it second hand is NOTHING like reading it yourself.

Review:
Well. This is one whopper of a book. I did not expect to like this book as much as I did. When I first recieved it from the wonderful Heather Doss at Harper, (thank you again!), I was skeptical. Very skeptical. I know How to Love had been hyped quiiitteee a bit on Twitter and on Booktube… but I had heard very little about 99 Days. Heck, part of me forgot it was even coming out.
This book will live up to any of the hype it gets. Despite some iffy subject matter, I really enjoyed this book. I flew through it, and while I did have some problems with a few characters, the over all development was nice. The story building was nice, and a bit refreshing. It’s been a little bit since I read it; and I still find myself thinking about Molly.
I really found myself emotionally charged and invested in the story. I still want more! I need to know! I felt like a teen again, caught in what felt like “real life” was. It actually motivated me to grab her first book!
This book comes out on the 21st!

Review:
I could not have loved this more. If I wasn’t already a fangirl of Ms. Ashton’s writing, I would be after this. This is actually the book that broke my fear of secondbookitous. Without being too spoilery, what Nikki goes through in this section of the Everneath series has to be one of the most heartwrenching things I have read in a book in years. We were introduced to some new, very well rounded characters, and delved a bit deeper into some already established ones.I have to say, I really started to like Cole in this one. Just the sheer personality that you see in this one, how far he is willing to go for Nikki… it’s damning. No pun intended. An amazing installment to this series. I cannot wait to read the last book. 🙂
